Christmas Dinner!

Last tuesday night we had our annual church Christmas dinner! We went to Joel's Restaurant and we had a blast. I finally got to wear my new black dress and hairband ;-)

The hairband!

Em and I had a mini photo-shoot before I left (she wasn't going as it's for over 18s only)...

Shocked faces...

Kirsteen deep in thought reading her Christmas cracker joke!

What would Christmas be without Christmas crackers?! Sinead and Fiona pulling one...

My starter: golden fried brie cheese

Some of the girlies...

Our welcome...

Our desert...I forgot to take a picture of the main meal! It was gorgeous though...roast beef, mashed potatoes and a yorkshire pudding!

The other half of our table...Pastor and Mrs. O', Lizzie, Oriel and Heather

After dinner a few of us went out for a little photo shoot! Here's Kirsteen and Santa! Mrs. O' asked her if she gave Santa her letter and she said, "No, but I gave him my number!" haha :-)

Sinead, Mum, Monica, Me and Kirsteen!

Then it was time for games! The first game was a table quiz...

The second game was an m&m-spoon-relay-race! The "contestants" had to put their hands behind their backs and scoop m&ms on to the spoon in their mouths. Then they had to pass them onto the next person's spoon and so on until the last person in the line put them in a bowl. It was men against ladies and the ladies won!!! Go girls ;-)

The m&ms :-)

The third and final game was a "see-how-many-sweets-you-can-stuff-in-your-partner's-mouth game" ;-) One person put socks on their hands and had to run to the table and grab a sweet, then had to open the wrapper and run back and put it in their partner's mouth!

James and Weston from the men's home won that one! ^_^

After the dinner, me, Tina and Kim got a few pics by a Christmas tree in the main hall...

Best friends... :-)

We had so much fun and felt much more unified as a church after the dinner! It's amazing how much laughter can bond brothers and sisters in Christ!
