Christmas Dinner!

Last tuesday night we had our annual church Christmas dinner! We went to Joel's Restaurant and we had a blast. I finally got to wear my new black dress and hairband ;-)

After dinner a few of us went out for a little photo shoot! Here's Kirsteen and Santa! Mrs. O' asked her if she gave Santa her letter and she said, "No, but I gave him my number!" haha :-)

Then it was time for games! The first game was a table quiz...

The second game was an m&m-spoon-relay-race! The "contestants" had to put their hands behind their backs and scoop m&ms on to the spoon in their mouths. Then they had to pass them onto the next person's spoon and so on until the last person in the line put them in a bowl. It was men against ladies and the ladies won!!! Go girls ;-)

The third and final game was a "see-how-many-sweets-you-can-stuff-in-your-partner's-mouth game" ;-) One person put socks on their hands and had to run to the table and grab a sweet, then had to open the wrapper and run back and put it in their partner's mouth!

We had so much fun and felt much more unified as a church after the dinner! It's amazing how much laughter can bond brothers and sisters in Christ!

Becca has been going to nursery for the last few months and she's learning lots of new songs there. One of her favourites is Jingle Bells and she "has to sing it loud like her teacher told her too" ;-)

Decorating for Christmas ;-)

Due to the snow and the new BCM Christmas CD, we have been feeling extremely Christmassy these last couple of weeks. The Saturday before last, we decorated for Christmas! All we're missing is the Christmas tree (which we have decided to get Christmas week this year!)

We have been having soooo much snow this week! Schools are closed all over the place and we have been enjoying our mini-holiday while our country panics! Some snow pics...
